Vergennes Grand Senior Living is nearing completion with residents having already moved in and making use of the new North building, which has the main commercial kitchen, dining room, laundry facilities, activity rooms, and contains the Memory Care wing with its own laundry facilities and country kitchen for tenants use. The South wing is a combination of new construction and the historic original 1800’s house and is planned to be turned over by the end of the month! A big thanks to everyone involved in making this development a reality and helping to create more dignified care for our aging population. πŸ’žβšœοΈ

560 Railroad Street started its life in 1909 built by J.E. Bertrand as the armory for the Vermont National Guard Company D. Initially called Bertrand’s Hall, the wide-open first floor was used for Guard training as well as dances and events; later converted into a hotel. Today, this historic part of Saint Johnsbury, VT has been reinvigorated and redeveloped into nine much-needed apartments for middle-income workers and two commercial spaces. With special attention spent on maintaining the integrity and character of the woodwork and brickwork throughout the building, we thank all the local subcontractors and suppliers who contributed to bringing this structure back into being an integral part of the historic St. J. downtown district. #HistoricVermont #NEKVT

HPC is pleased to have worked with Proctor Academy again; this time at 26 North Avenue where we renovated an unoccupied space and garage area to provide three additional living quarters. Were so glad to be a part of the academys growth and a stepping stone to their success.
