Utility Plant Expansion

Morrisville, Vermont

Project Type: Health Care
  • OWNER: Copley Hospital
  • ARCHITECT: Freeman French Freeman
  • DELIVERY METHOD: CM

Replacement of a 50 year old heating and cooling system. Patient care was not interrupted while two new 300 horsepower boilers (one for operations and one for back-up to assure patient safety) were built to accommodate boiler maintenance and components replacement.

The facility (1,580 SF) combines glazing systems and is complemented with an insulated metal panel skin. The project also enabled Copley to improve the image of their service entry and insulate the south side of the health center building’s perimeter.
