The Friendship House

Bethlehem, NH

Project Type: Healthcare

The Friendship House is a coed Sober house located in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, dedicated to providing safe and supportive sober living environments for individuals transitioning from drug rehabilitation programs.

In 2018, we undertook the construction of this facility, starting from the ground up. The resulting building encompasses 18,900 square feet of space, housing a total of 32 beds dedicated to sober living. The facility’s design includes not only patient rooms but also a specialized detox wing, a spacious dining hall, a doctor’s office with an exam room, an on-site laundry facility, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, various meeting rooms, flexible spaces with removable panels, administration offices, counseling offices, and well-designed bathroom spaces.

As the construction manager, we take great pride in being part of a project that serves a greater purpose and contributes to our community’s well-being by providing essential support services through The Friendship House. The project, aptly named The Friendship House, was initiated by AHEAD, Inc. as the owner. The architectural expertise for this project was provided by Alba Architects.
