
Updates to the Tavern Wing section of the Inn included HVAC and sprinkler system replacements. The 34 guest rooms over three floors were grouped into three “pods” to be done consecutively, so as to limit disruption to ongoing guest stays and services. The sprinkler system that covers five levels including the basement garage and attic was updated from dry to wet. New insulation and drywall was installed in the parking garage. All of the work required opening existing walls and ceiling to expose the systems for replacement and then finishes were reinstalled to match the existing adjacent finishes of the rooms.
