Multiple concrete cuts had to be made for a new high-performance mechanical system that is powered by 12 newly drilled geothermal wells. The foundation walls were waterproofed and cored to support the geothermal wells, with 275 linear feet of basement slab trenched to accommodate new underground plumbing. The new elevator shaft had to be cut through four concrete floors and ran into unexpected ledge that needed to be chipped out. The building envelope has been upgraded with spray foam and batted insulation, and installation of new energy-efficient windows.
