This project involved renovation of 18 patient rooms, the associated nurses’ stations, and conference room. The hospital was unable to release all 18 rooms at once, so the project was completed in two phases of nine rooms each phase. Work included updating the plumbing fixtures, lighting, wall protection, and paint in the patient rooms as well as an upgraded nurse call system. Outside of the patient space, Variable Air Volume systems were replaced along with new lighting, paint, ceiling tiles, and countertops at the nurse stations. This project was scheduled for eight weeks per phase and was completed on schedule.
