Located in the first floor of the newly-constructed apartment building dedicated to housing UVM Health Network staff, this space was thoughtfully designed to further support UVM Health staff by now being able to accommodate their growing families with not-for-profit child care. Seven classrooms were designed for up to 68 children ranging from infants to five years’ old, with support for developmental milestones while fostering a safe and stimulating environment to play and learn. A large motor skills area for active play is featured as well as four bathrooms, a kitchen and breakroom, and an administrative office – each designed with functionality and comfort in mind.
