This project involved the transformation of 9,040 square feet of existing vivarium space into a versatile area serving multiple purposes. Throughout the renovation, it was crucial to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the facilities, including highly vibration-sensitive operations, and minimize disturbances. Careful planning and execution were undertaken to maintain the functionality of the surrounding areas while carrying out the necessary construction activities such as demolition of the existing vivarium space and some flooring. This renovated space now includes a student lounge, gym facility, conference rooms, locker rooms, OSCE and study spaces, and a freezer farm.
