The project encompassed the construction of a versatile 70,000-square-foot building that served as a multi-purpose facility, featuring classrooms, offices, meeting and event spaces, a cafe, a kitchen, and interior and exterior dining areas. The campus’ geothermal system played a significant role in heating and cooling the building. The project adhered to Green Globe Guidelines and obtained Green Globes certification, emphasizing its commitment to sustainable practices.
The Communications & Creative Media Center was honored with a Vermont Public Places Award, a recognition program that celebrates outstanding public spaces and the positive contributions they make to the community. This esteemed award acknowledges the Center’s role as a special public space and the result of meticulous planning and design that enhances its functionality and benefits for the public.
