This project involved the renovation of six labor and delivery rooms, each designed to create a calming and supportive atmosphere during the birthing experience for both expectant mothers and their families. One of the rooms was specially equipped with a large birthing tub to offer alternative birthing options. In addition to the patient rooms, we renovated staff offices, on-call rooms, and a breakroom to enhance the functionality and accessibility for hospital staff. With an upgraded nurse station layout, we optimized workflow efficiency, allowing the medical team to provide the highest level of care to their patients. To create a warm and comforting ambiance, an interior designer collaborated with Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital to carefully select finishes that would create a soothing homelike environment.
